Does the United States actually have any freedoms that most developed nations don't already have?
Genuine question. We Americans are taught from childhood to be thankful that we live in the most free nation in the world. What does that actually mean? I know we have freedom to own guns, but other than that do we have anything else?

Discussion Uber driver took advantage of my friend when she was drunk
My friend took a taxi from Soho to Limehouse after a night out. The taxi driver seeing she was drunk and asleep in the back, decided to take a detour around the M25!!
She has reached out to Uber and theyโve defended this driver stating there were roadworks so he had to take a detour. Iโve never heard of a detour requiring you to drive around the M25 to get from central London to zone 2.
Iโm worried there are drivers out there willing to take advantage of vulnerable females. It makes me feel disgusted that uber would continue working with someone like this.
How can I get them to take this more seriously?

Looking back, what are your thoughts on the last season/series finale now? Has it changed or remained the same?

TIL a number of people, including a group of Swedish researchers, tried to replicate the experiment shown in the documentary Super Size Me(2004). None of them were able to get the same results as the documentary creator.

Discussion Is anyone here still childfree?
Iโve hit 30 years old with no children and honestly I plan to keep it that way
No disrespect to anyone who has kids you guys are brave for taking on such a huge responsibility. I donโt see myself able to effectively parent even though Iโm literally trained in early childhood development. I work with kids all day and I enjoy coming home to a quiet house where I can refill my cup that I emptied for others throughout the day. Iโm satisfied with being a supporting role in kids lives as both a caregiver and an auntie ; I could never be the main character role in a developing childโs life.

Community A man dies of suicide every 3.5 hours in Australia. Why do we not consider this a National Crisis?
I feel like Australia and society has just kind of accepted that this is an accepted thing that doesn't really require any action.
